The forage harvesting by high-efficient harvesters is carried out at high speeds. Mechanizers should show higher attention concentration and a rapid response to repeatedly changing during the working day harvest conditions. The cab of «Don 680М» fully meets these requirements.
The workplace is equipped with a soft spring chair and a steering post with all needed adjustments. For your assistant or apprentice there is a soft rumble seat. Powerful noise insulation, an air conditioner and a heater contribute to create the comfort microclimate.

The engine of «Don-680М», equipped with the turbocharging and integral heat exchanger, allows to generate the additional power at load buildup. In the most complex situations the cut fixed frequency is maintained — 20 112 cuts per minute.
The optimal adapters working width, a wide range of harvesting speeds and the unloading accelerator device allow to load the harvester efficiently and to maintain high productivity on the fields of various yield.

The important component of «Don 680М» ‘s high efficiency is a straight-through arrangement of the straight-line crop flow, which is notable not only for high capacity, but also for model process reliability.
At the bottom of the pattern there is a highly persistent chopping drum, equipped with 24 blades and a grinding device. The blades arrangement in V centres the green mass flux, provides high capacity, lowers the fuel consumption, increases mechanical life of the drum bearings.

Saving and simple Diesel, a chopping drum drive gear goes directly from the engine shaft, a blade grinding device, a cross bar of the increased wear resistance, a responsive metal detector, a fuel tank of 540 liters for operating during 11 hours without refuelling.
The principal expenses at use of forage harvesters fall on the fuel buying, breakages elimination and changing of wearing parts.

Unlike the other high-efficient harvesters, only «Don 680М» allows to obtain the green chop of 3,5 mm, intended for a first-rate forage conservation.
For silage harvesting of the corn with yellowing corncobs «Don 680М» is equipped with a rotary grain crusher, being a part of standard furnishing. The use of such forage allows to obtain the additional daily milk yield till 2,5 kg per cow.
